about
It's been almost a year since any new Built on Neon music dropped, so it's time for a little preview of what's to come.
"What's to come" can be taken to mean "an album." Eventually. When I have time. No, I'm not setting a deadline. I already tried that once and failed. But suffice it to say, it'll be sometime after I'm done school. Yes.
[evil sneer] Yes. [/end evil sneer]
In any case, "Solar" will definitely (probably) be on that album when (if) it comes out, so consider this your appetite whetter. I like (am okay with) where this thing got to, sonically, and hope (don't really care whether) you all do, too.
Enjoy!

Probably my favourite album of all time.
As soon as Tamarack's Gold Returns starts, I'm instantly reminded of Autumn. I listen to this album a lot, and it never gets old, I'm still just as excited for the next song to start as if it were the first time I'd listened to it.
It's a masterpiece. jobo1888
Heart breaking. It pulls you along an awful tale that only leaves you feeling worse. Haunts you afterwards and beckons you to play it again. Funeral Wizard
Here kitty, kitty! The synthwave genius returns with a whole new batch of hooky, metal-edged songs that are more fun than a ball of yarn. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 11, 2022
Inspired by ’80s John Hughes films and the sights & sounds of Miami, the latest from Zak Vortex is a balmy summer synthwave dream. Bandcamp New & Notable May 23, 2022
This album is everything you could want from a twilight fauna album. Dark and heavy and Appalachian as fuck. Folky, moss covered, dew dripping insanity. It’s absolutely perfect. Funeral Wizard
