Built on Neon's follow-up to The Experiment was supposed to come out in June, and it was supposed to be a full-length album. But life, as it's known to do, got in the way.

Dan was juggling work, a move, preparing for the start of a ridiculously intense school schedule, plus occasionally trying to eat, sleep, breathe...stuff like that. So, the synthwave took a backseat, and he ran out of time. Hence the title of this now-EP running through your ear holes.

But that being said, Dan's proud of the work that he did put into Running Out of Time. "Generic quote about this being some of the best music I've ever done," he says. "Hours and hours of production tweaks and other self-promotional crap!"

At any rate, he did put a lot of work into this thing. The synths are more synthy, the built is more built-y, and the neon is more neon-y. (The jury's still out on the "on," though.) Give it a spin -- we hope you like it!
